If you are here, I am sure you enjoy the beach as much as we do and want to keep them clean. We started this website to bring awareness regarding plastics and other trash that ends up on our beaches everyday. We are not a political site, we are only here to educate and bring awareness to this growing problem. Our motto is, “If you see it and it doesn’t belong on the beach, please pick it up”.

We have lived on Galveston Island since 2009 and have been active in the community since we arrived. We both enjoy walking on the beach with our two dogs (Summer and Destin) and just relaxing with family and friends. Two years ago we started volunteering at TIRN (Turtle Island Restoration Network) here in Galveston. We patrol the beaches starting in April until the end of July. All the volunteers are walking countless miles in hopes of finding a sea turtle that is in the process of laying eggs or locating a nest, so the eggs can be rescued and then released back to the Ocean after hatching in South Padre Island.

During our walks we noticed more and more trash and in particular plastics, so one day we made the decision to start this site in hopes that if we can educate our followers that we can all make an effort to keep our beaches clean. Please join us in picking up any trash you see on the beach and placing it in a garage bin that should be provided by your local Park Board. Thanks again for visiting our website and ENJOY the ocean and all of it’s wonderful creations.
